Apple problems too

I got a new iPhone as a warranty replacement. Firmware upgraded to latest version, same as the backup I made before bringing my old one in. I left with a blank activated phone.

I did the restore, but when I tried to reinstall all the apps, I got the Error 0x800002E: itunes won't update - Mac Forums error. I could sync but not install apps.

I did a reset to the factory settings, reinstalled the firmware and then restored. Voila. Hope this helps someone.
