A Journey in Vista Hell
Here's how to remove the Family Safety Software. Of course, you kids out there who are trying to bypass your parents settings are outta luck. You need an Administrator account.
1. Go to Start, then Control Panel, then Programs and Features and double click 'Windows Live Essentials'.
2. Check the box marked 'Uninstall'.
3. Check the 'Family Safety' option.
4. Click Uninstall.
5. Breathe a sigh of relief.
My kids are never use my Vista machine, so it was just annoying to me. Like lots of Vista 'features'.
